Water Therapy

So guys, today while i was giving Suvan a bath in his tub outside, I kindda submerged my legs in the water and kept the hose going over on my legs. The water felt like thousand needles on my skin, I have over active nerves, but that cold water did wonders, it was very therapeutic. It felt soooooo good.
I think we are so scared of doing things we used to do when we were kids that we have almost forgotten how to live. I discovered that my every night achy legs aren't hurting anymore. I am so going to tell everyone i thought, so here I am.
I went through some website online and read about therapeutic values of water, cold water, cold showers and ice baths. One thing you will wanna keep in mind that don't go into a cold room or cold bathroom after your cold shower. You can follow your cold shower after your hot shower, also if you are going to be in the AC all day you might not wanna do that shower, but if you are going to be outdoors that shower will give you extra energy. Some of the positive effect of cold shower is that it brings blood to the capillaries hence increasing blood circulation. Second it contracts muscles to eliminate toxins. Third it strengthens Mucus membranes thus eliminating colds, hay fever, allergies etc. (few examples among many many other i read). Alternating hot and cold therapies also do good especially for people with Vericose veins.( If there are Doctors/Scientists out there with a different take on this, am all ears.)

Tomorrow morning am so going to try some nice cold shower. I am convinced that water can cure my aches n pains. If only we listen to our body,we probably wont age at all. Jokes apart it might do some good if we behave like kids sometimes. Push some limits break some rules. Jump into the cold lake and run in the snow naked. Do ask your Doctor if you have serious conditions, please don't sue me for giving you some free advice. Have some fun! Ciao **
